CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A (1) YEAR EXTENSION TO THE AWARD OF CONTRACT TO FURNISH AND DELIVER DEICING MATERIALS TO COUNTY OF CAPE MAY AND PARTICPATING COOPERATIVE AGENCIES WHEREAS, County of Cape May Cooperative advertised for bids to furnish and deliver deicing materials to the County of Cape May and participating agencies; and WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood (the City) is a Participating Member of the County of Cape May Cooperative; and WHEREAS, 3 contracts were executed to furnish and deliver deicing materials to the County of Cape May and participating agencies: Contract# C4-148 with Seneca Mineral of Erie, PA, Contract#C4-149 with Atlantic Salt, Inc. of Lowell, MA, Contract# C4-150 with Riverside Construction Materials of Fairless Hills, PA; and WHEREAS, the City hereby acknowledges and accepts these bid rates for a service period of one (1) year with one (1) year option to renew commencing on November 11, 2024; and WHEREAS, per Resolution# 427-11-24 the City authorized an award of contract to furnish and deliver deicing materials to County of Cape May and participating cooperative agencies; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to extend the term with the (1) year option to renew commencing on November 11, 2025, and WHEREAS, on behalf of the Participating Members of the County of Cape May has executed a master agreement with Seneca Mineral, Atlantic Salt, Inc and Riverside Construction Materials for the Participating Members of the County of Cape May Cooperative as described above commencing on the dates specified above; and WHEREAS, each currently Participating Member of the County of Cape May Cooperative, including the City shall encumber funds in accordance with applicable law and hereby acknowledge the terms and conditions of the aforementioned bid and master contract to which it will be bound for the duration of the agreement as noted herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey, hereby authorizes the Qualified Purchasing Agent to enter into said agreement with Seneca Mineral, Atlantic Salt, Inc. and/or Riverside Construction Materials to furnish and deliver deicing materials. BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall authorize the City of Wildwood to enter an agreement for contract bid Contract# C4-148 Seneca Mineral, #C4-149 Atlantic Salt, Inc. and/or C4-150 Riverside Construction Material to furnish and deliver deicing materials under the County of Cape May Cooperative, commencing on November 11, 2025, for the term of the (1) year option to renew.
