The Property is located in the R-2 Low/Medium Density Residential Zoning District. Relief is being sought from the following sections of the City of Cape Mays Land Development/Zoning Ordinance: Chapter 525-15(A)(1) related to the expansion of a pre-existing semi-detached dwelling, which is not a permitted use, by-right, in the R-2 Zoning District; Chapter 525-15(B)(1) related to minimum required lot area, minimum required lot frontage, and minimum required lot width in the R-2 Zoning District; Chapter 525-15(B)(2)(a)(2) related to maximum permitted lot coverage in the R-2 Zoning District; Chapter 525-49(C)(1) related to minimum required off-street parking; and Chapter 525-73(D) related to relief being sought pertaining to a non-conforming structure on a non-conforming lot. Applicant further requests any, and all, other approvals, waivers, variances, or other forms of relief that the Board and its professionals deem applicable and necessary to secure approval of this application. The City of Cape May Zoning Board of Adjustment on Thursday, April 24, 2025, will hold a public hearing on this application at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Auditorium, located at 643 Washington Street, Cape May, New Jersey 08204.
