CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF 81 LOCKERS FOR THE MEN AND WOMANS LOCKER ROOM OF THE WILDWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Police Department (Department) recommends that the City of Wildwood (the City) procure 81 lockers for the Mens and Womens locker room of the Wildwood Police Department. WHEREAS, the Department has researched vendors and determined that the sought-after equipment may be procured through a nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contract between Sourcewell and Diversified Storage Solutions (DSS); and WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2b.(3) (as amended by P.L. 2011, c.139) and LFN 2012-10, a New Jersey municipality may purchase goods and services without public bidding under the Local Public Contracts Law through the use of a nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contract that has been developed utilizing a competitive bidding or contracting process by another contracting unit within New Jersey or another state; and WHEREAS, Sourcewell is a regional organization of governments operating under the laws of the State of Minnesota and is a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the subject cooperative purchasing contract#110923-spc was awarded by Sourcewell to Spacesaver utilizing a competitive contracting process; and WHEREAS, also pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2b.(3) (as amended by P.L. 2011, c.139) and LFN 2012-10, prior to making purchases under nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contracts, the municipality must determine that the use of the cooperative purchasing contract shall result in cost savings after all factors, including charges for service, material, and delivery, have been considered; and WHEREAS, the Department has determined that the Citys use of the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract to procure the aforementioned equipment will result in cost savings to the City; and WHEREAS, consistent with the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract and needs of the City, Diversified Storage Solutions has submitted a proposal to provide 81 lockers for the City for the sum of $169,926.34; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available for this purchase. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1.The foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby incorporated as if fully restated. 2.A contract for the purchase of 81 lockers for the Mens and Womens locker room of the Wildwood Police Department for the City for the sum of $169,926.34.00 is hereby awarded to Diversified Storage Solutions Company without public bidding as permitted by law. 3.If required, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an End User Agreement with Diversified Storage Solutions pursuant to the terms of its nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing agreement with the Sourcewell. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to enter into a Professional Service Contract with Montrose Environmental, of Robbinsville, NJ for Professional Services in connection with the submission of a Major and Minor Water Allocation Modification for the City Wildwood Water Utility as required by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) in order to maintain current water allocation, not to exceed Fifty-Six Thousand Dollars ($56,000.00) and no cents; and WHEREAS, the anticipated term of this contract is one year; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wildwood has certified that there are sufficient funds; and WHEREAS, the Local Public Contracts Law (NJSA 40:A11-1 et seq) requires that the resolution authorizing the award of contracts for Professional Services and Unspecified Services without competitive bids must publicly advertised and the contract itself must be available for public inspection; and WHEREAS, it is incumbent upon the above-referenced contractor to submit a Business Entity Disclosure Certification which certifies that the contractor has not made any reportable contributions to a political or candidate committee in the City of Wildwood in the previous one year, and that the contract will prohibit the contractor from making any reportable contributions through the term of the contract. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF 81 LOCKERS FOR THE MEN AND WOMANS LOCKER ROOM OF THE WILDWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Police Department (Department) recommends that the City of Wildwood (the City) procure 81 lockers for the Mens and Womens locker room of the Wildwood Police Department. WHEREAS, the Department has researched vendors and determined that the sought-after equipment may be procured through a nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contract between Sourcewell and Diversified Storage Solutions (DSS); and WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2b.(3) (as amended by P.L. 2011, c.139) and LFN 2012-10, a New Jersey municipality may purchase goods and services without public bidding under the Local Public Contracts Law through the use of a nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contract that has been developed utilizing a competitive bidding or contracting process by another contracting unit within New Jersey or another state; and WHEREAS, Sourcewell is a regional organization of governments operating under the laws of the State of Minnesota and is a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the subject cooperative purchasing contract#110923-spc was awarded by Sourcewell to Spacesaver utilizing a competitive contracting process; and WHEREAS, also pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2b.(3) (as amended by P.L. 2011, c.139) and LFN 2012-10, prior to making purchases under nationally-recognized and accepted cooperative purchasing contracts, the municipality must determine that the use of the cooperative purchasing contract shall result in cost savings after all factors, including charges for service, material, and delivery, have been considered; and WHEREAS, the Department has determined that the Citys use of the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract to procure the aforementioned equipment will result in cost savings to the City; and WHEREAS, consistent with the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract and needs of the City, Diversified Storage Solutions has submitted a proposal to provide 81 lockers for the City for the sum of $169,926.34; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available for this purchase.
