NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY DRAFT PROGRAMMATIC ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT, ENERGY AND WATER PROJECTS, TRAINING CENTER CAPE MAY, NEW JERSEY The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has prepared a Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA), pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), to evaluate the potential for environmental impacts from the implementation of various energy and water management, security, and resilience projects (Proposed Action) at Training Center (TRACEN) Cape May, New Jersey. The purpose of the Proposed Action is to facilitate improvements to energy and water security and resilience to enhance mission readiness at TRACEN Cape May. The PEA presents the purpose and need for the action, the proposed action and alternatives, a description of the affected environment, and an analysis of environmental consequences. The PEA also analyzes cumulative impacts from the Proposed Actin in conjunction with other past, present or reasonably foreseeable projects. The Draft PEA is available for public review and comment for a 30-day period from October 27 to December 9, 2025. The Draft PEA is available for review at the Cape May City Public Library at 720 Franklin Street Cape May, NJ 08204.
