CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH DEBLASIO & ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND GRANT APPLICATION SERVICES FOR SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS-PHASE 4 NJ INFRASTRUCTURE BANK APPLICATION - FY2026 DRINKING WATER WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood (the city), has a need to perform various water, sewer and roadway restoration improvements requiring survey, engineering, Grant and regulatory permitting services; and WHEREAS, the City received a proposal from DeBlasio & Associates (hereinafter DeBlasio), annexed hereto and incorporated by reference herein, for Professional Engineering and Grant Application Phase Services for Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Improvements - Phase 4 NJ Infrastructure Bank Application (NJIB) FY2026 Drinking Water Application; and WHEREAS, the City has a need to acquire such professional engineering services as a Non-fair and Open Contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Professional Service Contract with DeBlasio for Professional Engineering and Grant Application Services in connection with the Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Improvements, Phase 4, NJ Infrastructure Bank Application (NJIB) FY2026 Drinking Water Application, for an amount not to exceed Seven thousand Dollars and No Cents ($7,000.00); and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wildwood has certified as to the availability of funds; and WHEREAS, it is incumbent upon DeBlasio to submit a Business Entity Disclosure Certification which certifies that the contractor has not made any reportable contributions to a political or candidate committee in the City of Wildwood in the previous one year, and that the contract will prohibit the contractor from making any reportable contributions through the term of the contract. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey as follows: 1. That the provisions of the above preamble of this Resolution are hereby incorporated herein, by this reference, as if set forth at length. 2. That the contract is hereby awarded DeBlasio & Associates of Wildwood, NJ for Professional Engineering and Grant Application Services for Sanitary and watermain Improvements Phase 4 NJ Infrastructure Bank Application FY2026 Drinking Water Application in the City of Wildwood, as set forth in the annexed Exhibit A, incorporated by reference herein, for an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($7,000.00). 3. That the Business Disclosure Entity Certification and the Political Contribution Disclosure Form be placed on file with the Resolution, and that this resolution be published according to law. 4. That all appropriate municipal officials of the City of Wildwood are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to undertake the necessary actions to further the execution of said.
