CITY OF NORTH WILDWOOD PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Michael Sperduto (the Applicant), has applied to the Planning Board of the City of North Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey seeking Variance Relief and Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan approval respecting real property located at 100 & 108 E. Walnut Avenue, North Wildwood, New Jersey 08260 (Block 190.01, Lots 6 & 7). It is the intention of the Applicant to demolish the presently existing improvements on the Property and to construct a new bar/restaurant and associated outdoor patio space on the Property. The Property is located in the D&E (Dining & Entertainment) Zoning District. According to the City of North Wildwood Municipal Code, the purpose of the Dining & Entertainment Zoning District is to revitalize the Citys historic Tavern District by providing for a critical mass of restaurant, nightlife, and such other entertainment-oriented amenities that are customary to such a district. The Applicant is requesting preliminary and final site plan approval, pursuant to Section 276-63, as well as variance relief, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c)(2), from the provisions of Section 276-23(D) of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of North Wildwood pertaining to maximum permitted lot coverage, minimum required rear yard setback, and minimum required off-street parking spaces. The Applicant also requests any, and all, other variances, approvals, and/or waivers that the City of North Wildwood Planning Board may deem necessary at the time of the hearing on this application. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning Board of the City of North Wildwood related to this Application on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 901 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood, New Jersey 08260, at which time you may either appear in person or by agent or attorney and present any objection which you may have to the granting of this appeal. Maps and documents, if any, relating to this application will be available for public inspection at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing in the office of the Secretary of the Board 901 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood, New Jersey 08260, during normal business hours.
