LEGAL NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned, Island Acquisitions, LLC (the Applicant), has made application to the City of Wildwood Planning/Zoning Board (the Board) for property commonly known as 328 East Glenwood Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260 and also known as Lot 18.01 in Block 219, on the Tax and Assessment Map of the City of Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey (the Property) in order to seek approval to demolish the existing structures, conduct a minor subdivision resulting in two newly described lots and construct a single-family dwelling on one of the proposed new lots and construct a four-unit multi-family residential building on the other proposed new lot together with accessory structures and other site improvements. Variance relief from the Land Use Development Ordinance of the City of Wildwood and the Municipal Land Use Law pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) as follows for proposed Lot 18.01, which is proposed to be developed with a four-unit multi-family residential building: a. Minimum required lot area, where a minimum of 7,200 square feet is required and 5,400 square feet is proposed; b. Minimum required lot frontage, where a minimum of 80 feet is required and 60 feet is proposed; c. Minimum required front yard setback, where a minimum of 10 feet is required and 4.14 feet is proposed; d. Minimum required side yard setback, where a minimum of 6 feet is required and 4.98 feet and 5.47 feet are proposed; e. Maximum permitted building coverage, where a maximum of 60% is permitted and 61.6% is proposed; f. Maximum permitted impervious lot coverage, where a maximum of 70% is permitted and 76% is proposed; g. Modulation of building walls, where for every 20 feet of fa{c-ced}ade, the adjacent fa{c-ced}ade shall provided a minimum of 2 feet offset for at least 20% of the length of the fa{c-ced}ade, and the front of the proposed building does not meet this requirement; h. Maximum permitted driveway curb cut, where a maximum of 24 feet is permitted and the proposed curb cut exceeds 24 feet; i. Minimum required contiguous raised curb with landscaped frontage, whereas a minimum of 25% of the lot frontage shall be contiguous raised curb with landscaping to the building line, and 11.7% is proposed; 5. Variance relief from the Land Use Development Ordinance of the City of Wildwood and the Municipal Land Use Law pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) as follows for proposed Lot 18.02, which is proposed to be developed with a single-family dwelling: a. Minimum required lot area, where a minimum of 3,600 square feet is required and 3,240 square feet is proposed; b. Minimum required lot frontage, where a minimum of 40 feet is required and 36 feet is proposed; c. Minimum required front yard setback on Ocean Avenue, where a minimum of 10 feet is required and 4.75 feet is proposed; d. Minimum required front yard setback on Glenwood Avenue, where a minimum of 10 feet is required and 4.05 feet is proposed; e. Maximum permitted building coverage, where a maximum of 45% is permitted and 51.4% is proposed; f. Maximum permitted driveway curb cut, where a maximum of 24 feet is permitted and the proposed curb cut exceeds 24 feet; g. Minimum required contiguous raised curb with landscaped frontage, whereas a minimum of 25% of the lot frontage shall be contiguous raised curb with landscaping to the building line, and 17.5% is proposed; h. Minimum required setback to HVAC equipment, if required, where a minimum of 4 feet is required, and less than 4 feet may be proposed. 6. Waivers from the requirements of the Land Use Development Ordinance of the City of Wildwood to submit the following: a. Environmental impact statement; and b. Location and details of all lighting facilities, including the ground floor parking area, including height, light intensity in footcandles, direction of illumination and type of outdoor lighting. 7. Any other bulk, dimensional and accessory variance relief or exceptions from the Land Use Development Ordinance of the City of Wildwood and the Municipal Land Use Law pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) or N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(d) which may be required, including, but not limited to, number of parking spaces, size of driveway, dimensions or location of parking spaces, setback to parking, stacked parking, curb cuts, side yard setbacks, front yard setbacks, rear yard setbacks, lot coverage, building coverage, building height, roof pitch, landscaping, lighting, building fa{c-ced}ade, setbacks or location of accessory structures including but not limited to swimming pools and equipment and HVAC equipment, building projections; and 8. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A NON-FAIR AND OPEN CONTRACT TO GRR CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC FOR CONSULTING AND ADVISORY PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WHEREAS, Edmund Grant is the principal of GRR Consulting Services, LLC, (hereinafter GRR) of Cape May, New Jersey; WHEREAS, GRR has been previously retained by the City to provide operational and administrative consulting services and has demonstrated extensive experience in the areas of municipal administration, local government affairs, coordinating agency activities, multiparty municipal litigation, and municipal finance; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to enter into a new agreement with GRR for professional consulting and advisory services with respect to GRRs specialized expertise and proven reputation at the local and County level concerning labor and contract negotiations, shared services and interlocal agreements with the County and other municipalities, and multiparty litigation involving the City, local governmental units and federal and state agencies as a non-fair and open contract pursuant to Pay to Play laws, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq as the services needed by the City in this regard, and the level of confidentiality required to competently perform the same, do not permit the formulation of precise specifications; and WHEREAS, the total value of the agreement with GRR Consulting Services, LLC will exceed $17,500.00; and WHEREAS, GRR Consulting Services, LLC has completed and submitted a Business Entity Disclosure Certification which certifies that said entity has not made any reportable contributions to a political or candidate committee in the City of Wildwood in the previous one year, and that the contract will prohibit it from making any reportable contributions for the term of the contract; and WHEREAS, the services to be provided by GRR are extraordinary and unspecified services that are specialized and qualitative in nature and require expertise, extensive training, a proven reputation and a high degree of confidentiality and trust as set forth herein; and WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(a) permits the award of a contract for professional services and extraordinary and unspecified services without public advertising and bidding. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey as follows: 1.That the provisions of the above preamble of this Resolution are hereby incorporated herein, by this reference, as if set forth at length. 2.That the City is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with GRR Consulting Services, LLC, for a term of two (2) months with an option to extend for an additional two (2) months as necessary to address the scope of the of the contract in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars, said figure representing the potential expenditure for the initial and additional term as contemplated herein, and that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to sign any and all documents in furtherance of the same. 3.That the Business Disclosure Entity Certification and Determination of Value provided by GRR Consulting Services, LLC shall be placed on file, together with this Resolution. 4.That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the contract on behalf of the City, and to take all other actions necessary to effectuate the purpose thereof. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AMENDING CONTRACT WITH TRINITY CODE FOR BUILDING PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL SERVICES WHEREAS, Resolution No. 236-6-23, approved on June 8, 2023 authorized a contract with Trinity Code for on-site inspections for building, plumbing, and electrical protection services for a (3) three-year term with three (3) one-year options at the sole and absolute discretion of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to amend the contract with Trinity Code and increase the amount of the contract from Eight Hundred and Nineteen Thousand ($819,000) Dollars to Eight Hundred and Twenty-Nine Thousand ($829,000) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Wildwood has certified the availability of funds. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION EMERGENCY REPAIR WELL #49 WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood had an emergency which required immediate attention for an Emergency Repair Declaration due to an Emergency at Well #49 at Myrtle Ave & Park Blvd in Wildwood Crest, NJ on July 5, 2025, and; WHEREAS, the Wildwood Water Utility Engineer & Director has inspected the site and determined in writing that an emergency situation did indeed exist.
