CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AMENDING CONTRACT WITH TRINITY CODE FOR BUILDING, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL SERVICES WHEREAS, Resolution No. 236-6-23, approved on June 8, 2023 authorized a contract with Trinity Code for on-site inspections for building, plumbing, and electrical protection services for a (3) three-year term with three (3) one-year options at the sole and absolute discretion of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to amend the contract with Trinity Code and increase the amount of the contract from Eight Hundred and Twenty-Nine ($829,000) Dollars to Eight Hundred and Sixty-Four Thousand ($864,000) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Wildwood has certified the availability of funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey, that: 1.The contract with Trinity Code shall be amended to state that Trinity shall provide on-site inspections for building, plumbing and electrical services for the 2023-2026 contract year for an amount not to exceed EIGHT HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND ($864,000) DOLLARS. 2.The Mayor, Administrator, and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to take such further action or actions as may be necessary or reasonably required to carry out the intent and purpose of this Resolution. 3.This Resolution shall remain on file in the City Clerks office and available for public inspection. The portion of Ordinance No. 490-A, adopted on December 6, 1966, that has been codified at 126-14 of the Code of the City of North Wildwood, is hereby amended so as to henceforth read as follows: 126-14. Annual dog license fee. The annual dog license fee and renewal thereof is hereby fixed at $3.80, not including any fees imposed by the State of New Jersey. Section Two. The portion of Ordinance No. 968, adopted on August 4, 1987, that has been codified at 126-25 of the Code of the City of North Wildwood, is hereby amended so as to henceforth read as follows: 126-25. Definitions. ANIMAL CONTROL AUTHORITY Any person or agency designated or certified by the State of New Jersey to enforce the provisions of this article. CAT Any member of the domestic feline species, male, female or altered. CATTERY Any room or group of rooms, cage, or exhibition pen, not part of a kennel, wherein cats for sale are kept or displayed. NEUTERED Rendered permanently incapable of reproduction as certified by a licensed veterinarian. OWNER When applied to the proprietorship of a cat, shall include every person having a right of property (or custody) in such cat and every person who has such cat in his/her keeping, or who harbors or maintains a cat or knowingly permits a cat to remain on or about any premises occupied by that person. PERSON Any individual, corporation, partnership, organization, or institution commonly recognized by law as a unit. Section Three. The portion of Ordinance No. 968, adopted on August 4, 1987, that has been codified at 126-26A of the Code of the City of North Wildwood, is hereby amended so as to henceforth read as follows: A.Vaccination requirements. No person shall own, keep, harbor, or maintain any cat over seven months of age within the City of North Wildwood, unless such cat is vaccinated. The provisions of this section do not apply to cats held in a cattery, or those held by a state-or federal-licensed research facility, or a veterinary establishment where cats are received or kept for diagnostic, medical, surgical or other treatments, or licensed animal shelters, pounds, kennels or pet shops. Section Four. The portion of Ordinance No. 968, adopted on August 4, 1987, as amended, that has been codified at 126-27 of the Code of the City of North Wildwood, is hereby repealed in its entirety and 126-27 shall henceforth be designated as Reserved for future use. Section Five. If any portion of this Ordinance is determined to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that determination shall have no effect upon the remainder of this Ordinance, which shall remain valid and operable. Section Six. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, to the extent of such inconsistencies only, be and the same hereby are repealed. Section Seven. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AMENDING CONTRACT WITH TRINITY CODE FOR BUILDING, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL SERVICES WHEREAS, Resolution No. 236-6-23, approved on June 8, 2023 authorized a contract with Trinity Code for on-site inspections for building, plumbing, and electrical protection services for a (3) three-year term with three (3) one-year options at the sole and absolute discretion of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to amend the contract with Trinity Code and increase the amount of the contract from Eight Hundred and Twenty-Nine ($829,000) Dollars to Eight Hundred and Sixty-Four Thousand ($864,000) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Wildwood has certified the availability of funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey, that: 1.The contract with Trinity Code shall be amended to state that Trinity shall provide on-site inspections for building, plumbing and electrical services for the 2023-2026 contract year for an amount not to exceed EIGHT HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND ($864,000) DOLLARS. 2.The Mayor, Administrator, and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to take such further action or actions as may be necessary or reasonably required to carry out the intent and purpose of this Resolution. 3.This Resolution shall remain on file in the City Clerks office and available for public inspection.
