CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH COLLIERS ENGINEERING & DESIGN FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO BOARDWALK REHABILITATION PHASES 7A AND 8 WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood (the City) is engaged in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Boardwalk as part of the Boardwalk Reconstruction Project; and WHEREAS, the City has received and reviewed a proposal from Colliers Engineering & Design (Colliers) to provide professional engineering services relating to the Boardwalk Reconstruction Project on behalf of the City for an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand Four Hundred ($497,400.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the proposal, determined that Colliers possesses the requisite qualifications in connection with the scope of services to be provided and wishes to award a contract to Colliers for professional engineering services as set fort therein, the terms of which are incorporated by reference herein; and WHEREAS, Colliers has completed and submitted a Business Entity Disclosure Certification which certifies that said entity has not made any reportable contributions to a political or candidate committee in the City of Wildwood in the previous one year, and that the contract will WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Wildwood has certified as to the availability of funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey as follows: 1.That the Board of Commissioners hereby approves a professional services agreement with Colliers Engineering & Design for rehabilitation of the Boardwalk for Phase 7A Widening Burk Avenue to Rio Grande Avenue, Phase 8 Rio Grande Avenue to Cresse Avenue (including 14 widening), Widening Connection at Phase 6 (Montgomery Avenue), Lighting and Cameras Burk Avenue to Cresse Avenue in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A for an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Four Hundred ($497,400.00) Dollars. 2.That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the contract on behalf of the City, and to take any and all other actions necessary to effectuate the purposes thereof. 3.That the Business Disclosure Entity Certification shall be placed on the file with this Resolution. 4.That this Resolution shall be published according to law.
