NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., that the City of Wildwood Planning/Zoning Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing at its upcoming regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 6:00pm in the Commissioners Meeting Room located in City Hall at 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey, on the adoption of an amendment to the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan of the City of Wildwood Master Plan. This notice is being published pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13. The proposed amended Round 4 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan will address the City of Wildwoods obligations under the Amended Fair Housing Act (N.J.S.A 52:27D-301 et seq.), and was prepared in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28(b)(3) of the Municipal Land Use Law and the mandatory requirements of a Housing Element under the New Jersey Fair Housing Act (N.J.S.A. 52:27D-310) and the Administrative Office of the Courts Directive #14-24. The amended Round 4 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan also delineates the actions taken, and to be taken, by the City to create a realistic opportunity to satisfy its fair share of the regional need for affordable housing, set forth in the DCA issued report dated October 18, 2024 wherein it reported its estimate of the obligation for all municipalities based upon its interpretation of the standards in the Amended Fair Housing Act, which obligation was subsequently accepted by the City of Wildwood. A full and complete copy of the proposed Round 4 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan of the Citys Master Plan will be on file at the City of Wildwood Clerks Office located at 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260, at least ten (10) days prior to the date of the public hearing, and may be inspected and copied during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At the time of the public hearing any interested persons may appear to ask questions and present comments in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed report. The City of Wildwood Planning/Zoning Board of Adjustment may act on the Plan at the close of the public hearing on June 9, 2025 or continue the hearing to a date as may be scheduled by the Board.
