LOWER TOWNSHIP ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Lower Township Elementary Schools is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Preschool Intervention Referral Specialist (PIRS) to coach preschool teachers and support the identification and referral process for preschool students who may need additional developmental, behavioral, or academic support. Candidates must hold one of the following valid New Jersey educational certificates: School Psychologist Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant School Social Worker Teacher of Students with Disabilities (along with a Standard Early Childhood or P-3 certification) Speech-Language Specialist Or other appropriately certified personnel authorized under N.J.A.C. 6A:9B and 6A:13A-4.5 to conduct developmental and educational assessments of preschool children. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience working with preschool-aged children in public education or early intervention settings.
