CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 FOR FRED M. SCHIAVONE CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN THE INCREASED AMOUNT OF $21,773.48 IN CONNECTION WITH BOARDWALK REHABILITATION PHASE VI WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood contracted with Fred M. Schiavone Construction, Inc. (hereinafter Contractor) pursuant to Resolution No. 348-8-24 for services associated with the Boardwalk Rehabilitation Project Phase VI and VII (hereinafter Project), the material provisions of which are incorporated by reference herein; and WHEREAS, the Project Engineer for the City, Colliers Engineering & Design, has recommended Change Order No. 3 for the Project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 recommends a contract increase in the amount of Twenty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Three and 48/100 ($21,773.48) Dollars to account for temporary lighting and the installation of additional speaker mounts and hardware in connection with the Project; and WHEREAS, the original amount of the contract was $4,173,387.01, subsequently modified by Change Orders No. 1 and 2, and this Change Order No. 3 increases the contract to $4,944,884.42 representing an overall increase of 18.486% from the original amount; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wildwood has certified as to the availability of funds; and WHEREAS, the revisions to the contract and this Change Order are necessary in order to complete the project in the most efficient and cost-effective manner for residents of the City of Wildwood. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AMENDING A CONTRACT WITH REMINGTON & VERNICK ENGINEERS FOR ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES FOR SUSQUEHANNA AVENUE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, in connection with the Ottens Harbor Flood Mitigation Project Susquehanna Avenue Drainage Improvements (the Project), a water main leak was identified and it was determined that the same was in need of replacement; and WHEREAS, additional engineering services beyond the scope of the original contract awarded contract to Remington & Vernick Engineers (RVE), the Project Engineer, was required to properly complete the work; and WHEREAS, RVE has submitted an invoice for the additional construction phase services provided in the amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred ($5,800.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has certified that there are sufficient funds to pay for the contract of the above referenced vendor.
