CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRIAD ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE AND PROCESS A 2025 USDOT SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL (SS4A) PLANNING GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION WHEREAS, grant opportunities are available to the City of Wildwood (the City) through the 2025 USDOT Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Planning Gran Program Application; and WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Triad Associates (Triad) to prepare and process the 2025 USDOT Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) Planning Grant Program Application as authorized under the existing Professional Services Agreement (2025 General Services Agreement) in the amount not to exceed $5,250.00; and WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the proposal and wishes to authorize Triad to perform the grant consulting services described therein, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified to the availability of funds for same as the services herein fall within the existing scope of work and funds are available through the Citys existing contract with Triad. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION AMENDING A CONTRACT WITH REMINGTON & VERNICK ENGINEERS FOR ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES FOR SUSQUEHANNA AVENUE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, in connection with the Ottens Harbor Flood Mitigation Project Susquehanna Avenue Drainage Improvements (the Project), a water main leak was identified and it was determined that the same was in need of replacement; and WHEREAS, additional engineering services beyond the scope of the original contract awarded contract to Remington & Vernick Engineers (RVE), the Project Engineer, was required to properly complete the work; and WHEREAS, RVE has submitted an invoice for the additional construction phase services provided in the amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred ($5,800.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has certified that there are sufficient funds to pay for the contract of the above referenced vendor. BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST COUNTY OF CAPE MAY NEW JERSEY ORDINANCE NO. 1457 ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST ARTICLE I, UNIFORM CONSTRUCTION CODE OF CHAPTER 22 AMENDING FEES FOR PERMITS WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners, of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, for good government, order and the protection of persons and property, and for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the Borough and its inhabitants, desires to supplement and amend the Code of the Borough of Wildwood Crest to adjust the fees construction permits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, in the County of Cape May, New Jersey, as follows: (new language is underlined, removed language is stricken): Section 1. Ordinance 1421 adopted January 24, 2024 and Ordinance 1226 adopted November 4, 2015, that had been codified in the Code of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, as Chapter 22, Section 22-3 Fees, is hereby amended and supplemented as follows: 22-3. Fees. F.The basic construction fee shall be the sum of the parts computed on the basis of volume or cost of construction, the number of plumbing fixtures and pieces of equipment, the number of electrical fixtures and the number of sprinklers, standpipes and detectors (smoke and heat) at the unit rates provided herein, plus any special fees. (1)Building Volume or Cost. Fees for new construction shall be based upon the volume of the structure. Volume shall be computed in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.28. Use groups and types of construction used herein are classified and defined in Articles 3 & 4 of the Building Subcode. (a)The fees for new construction are as follows: Use GroupFee Use Groups No. 3 U = Utility$ 0.0011 per cubic foot of structural volume The unit rate for large, open-volume, single story spaces in building, such as barns, silos, greenhouses, warehouses, distribution centers, and other agricultural and storage use occupancies, shall be less than the unit rate for other types of buildings and occupancy classifications. This shall be clearly indicated in the ordinance and schedule. (1)For the purpose of calculating the volume to determine the fee for these spaces, the height shall be limited to 20 feet notwithstanding the fact the actual height of the space may be greater than 20 feet. (o) Certificates of Occupancy: U = Utility Section 2.The remainder of all other sections and subsections of the aforementioned ordinance not specifically amended by this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3.All other ordinances in conflict with or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. Section 4.If any portion of this ordinance is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect or invalidate the remainder of this ordinance, but shall be confined in its effect to the provision directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered. BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST COUNTY OF CAPE MAY NEW JERSEY ORDINANCE NO. 1457 ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST ARTICLE I, UNIFORM CONSTRUCTION CODE OF CHAPTER 22 AMENDING FEES FOR PERMITS WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners, of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, for good government, order and the protection of persons and property, and for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the Borough and its inhabitants, desires to supplement and amend the Code of the Borough of Wildwood Crest to adjust the fees construction permits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, in the County of Cape May, New Jersey, as follows: (new language is underlined, removed language is stricken): Section 1. Ordinance 1421 adopted January 24, 2024 and Ordinance 1226 adopted November 4, 2015, that had been codified in the Code of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, as Chapter 22, Section 22-3 Fees, is hereby amended and supplemented as follows: 22-3. Fees. F.The basic construction fee shall be the sum of the parts computed on the basis of volume or cost of construction, the number of plumbing fixtures and pieces of equipment, the number of electrical fixtures and the number of sprinklers, standpipes and detectors (smoke and heat) at the unit rates provided herein, plus any special fees. (1)Building Volume or Cost. Fees for new construction shall be based upon the volume of the structure. Volume shall be computed in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.28. Use groups and types of construction used herein are classified and defined in Articles 3 & 4 of the Building Subcode. (a)The fees for new construction are as follows: Use GroupFee Use Groups No. 3 U = Utility$ 0.0011 per cubic foot of structural volume The unit rate for large, open-volume, single story spaces in building, such as barns, silos, greenhouses, warehouses, distribution centers, and other agricultural and storage use occupancies, shall be less than the unit rate for other types of buildings and occupancy classifications. This shall be clearly indicated in the ordinance and schedule. (1)For the purpose of calculating the volume to determine the fee for these spaces, the height shall be limited to 20 feet notwithstanding the fact the actual height of the space may be greater than 20 feet. (o) Certificates of Occupancy: U = Utility Section 2.The remainder of all other sections and subsections of the aforementioned ordinance not specifically amended by this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3.All other ordinances in conflict with or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. Section 4.If any portion of this ordinance is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect or invalidate the remainder of this ordinance, but shall be confined in its effect to the provision directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered. CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRIAD ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE AND PROCESS A 2025 USDOT SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL (SS4A) PLANNING GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION WHEREAS, grant opportunities are available to the City of Wildwood (the City) through the 2025 USDOT Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Planning Gran Program Application; and WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Triad Associates (Triad) to prepare and process the 2025 USDOT Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) Planning Grant Program Application as authorized under the existing Professional Services Agreement (2025 General Services Agreement) in the amount not to exceed $5,250.00; and WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the proposal and wishes to authorize Triad to perform the grant consulting services described therein, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified to the availability of funds for same as the services herein fall within the existing scope of work and funds are available through the Citys existing contract with Triad.
