CITY OF WILDWOOD Cape May County, New Jersey RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRIAD ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE AND PROCESS A 2025 USDOT SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL (SS4A) PLANNING GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION WHEREAS, grant opportunities are available to the City of Wildwood (the City) through the 2025 USDOT Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Planning Gran Program Application; and WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Triad Associates (Triad) to prepare and process the 2025 USDOT Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) Planning Grant Program Application as authorized under the existing Professional Services Agreement (2025 General Services Agreement) in the amount not to exceed $5,250.00; and WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the proposal and wishes to authorize Triad to perform the grant consulting services described therein, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified to the availability of funds for same as the services herein fall within the existing scope of work and funds are available through the Citys existing contract with Triad. B.A. The applicant to whom such permit is issued shall, within the time limited in such permit, replace the earth and pavement in the excavation in such manner that the same shall be left in as good condition as it was before the excavation was commenced. (hereinafter Contractor) pursuant to Resolution No. 348-8-24 for services associated with the Boardwalk Rehabilitation Project Phase VI and VII (hereinafter Project), the material provisions of which are incorporated by reference herein; and WHEREAS, the Project Engineer for the City, Colliers Engineering & Design, has recommended Change Order No. 3 for the Project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 recommends a contract increase in the amount of Twenty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Three and 48/100 ($21,773.48) Dollars to account for temporary lighting and the installation of additional speaker mounts and hardware in connection with the Project; and WHEREAS, the original amount of the contract was $4,173,387.01, subsequently modified by Change Orders No. 1 and 2, and this Change Order No. 3 increases the contract to $4,944,884.42 representing an overall increase of 18.486% from the original amount; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wildwood has certified as to the availability of funds; and WHEREAS, the revisions to the contract and this Change Order are necessary in order to complete the project in the most efficient and cost-effective manner for residents of the City of Wildwood. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Governing Body of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey as follows: 1.That the provisions of the above preamble of this Resolution are hereby incorporated herein, by this reference, as if set forth at length. 2.That the Contractors contract is hereby modified and amended to reflect the substantive portions of this Change Order No. 3 and to include an increase in the amount of $21,773.48. 3.That all appropriate municipal officials of the City of Wildwood are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to undertake the necessary actions to further the execution of said Change Order No. 3. 4.That notice of this Resolution shall be published according to law.
